In her book "Good People in an Evil Time", Dr Svetlana Broz recorded and then wrote ninety upsetting stories told by the Moslems, the Croats and the Serbs. Dr Broz has written thirty stories about each of the three confessions, about their goodness, kindness and will to help people belonging to the other confessions. First and foremost as a doctor and then as a humanitarian she has decided to reveal, that regardless the God one worships, there are still good people in the time of evil. Many of those good people wanted to remain anonymous because they wanted to protect all those who they had helped. The basic motive that has made the author compile those stories, is to re-establish human kindness as supreme postulate, in which she deeply believes. This is the future of existence for all three confessions in the land of her forefathers. |
