On 11 July 1995, in the area protected by the blue helmets, Bosnian Serb forces carried out the massacre of more than 8,000 Muslim men and boys.
In the fifteenth anniversary of the bloodshed a historic verdict of the Hague Court condemns the executioners.

Natalia Estemirova’s murder
one year later
On 15 July 2009 Natalia Estemirova was abducted and killed. She had reported human rights violations in Chechnya. One year after her death Memorial holds a press conference and appeals to the Russian government and the International community asking for nothing similar to ever occur again to the Chechnian colleagues.
On 15 July in Moscow to remember Natalia: a picket under Griboedov monument and a meeting at Memorial House.
