The remains of 120 people, victims of the Srebrenica slaughter, were exhumed from 8 mass graves in Zalazje, not far from the scene of the murder.

Natalia Estemirova’s murder

one year later

On 15 July 2009 Natalia Estemirova was abducted and killed. She had reported human rights violations in Chechnya. One year after her death Memorial holds a press conference and appeals to the Russian government and the International community asking for nothing similar to ever occur again to the Chechnian colleagues.
On 15 July in Moscow to remember Natalia: a picket under Griboedov monument and a meeting at Memorial House.
