The Gardens of the Righteous

the gardens that commemorate the Righteous of all genocides

FAIL (the browser should render some flash content, not this)

The Gardens of the Righteous are formed to extend research on the Righteous, and to trace evidence of Good wherever Evil has reared its ugliest head. Because only by remembering Good is it possible to preserve hope. The Righteous show us that, even in extreme situations, there is always a choice, it is always possible to say yes or not. They are our conscience; they remove all alibis from those who simply stand and stare, indifferent and impassive, while crimes are committed against humanity.
The lessons they teach take us back to the tragic history of the 20th century. Besides the Shoah, we must not forget the genocide of the Armenians in 1915, the horrendous massacres perpetrated in Stalin’s GULags, the extermination of entire defenceless populations, even recently, in Cambodia, China, Rwanda, Latin America and the Balkans. In every situation there have been Righteous who have tried to offer resistance.
